When Wesley Duke is arrested in connection with the murder of two drug dealers on the Borogrove Estate, it is Burton who represents him when he is interviewed by DCI Anthony Gates. She advises him to not comment.

Burton later represents Ryan Pilkington when he is arrested and interviewed at Kingsgate Station by DC Kate Fleming.
